The Transplant Area
This is the area where your donor hair will be transplanted. For most procedures, a new hairline is created and thinning interior areas are filled in. Of course, you want natural looking hair that compliments your features to give you a more youthful appearance. Your physician will develop a treatment plan based on your goals, hair type and personal characteristics. During your procedure, your physician will transplant each hair individually, providing a natural looking hairline and adding density to thinning areas.
Natural Hair Growth
After a few weeks, the transplanted hair will take root and begin to grow in its new location. Your newly transplanted hair, like the rest of your hair, grows steadily over time. You won’t need to worry about suddenly looking different. After a few months, you’ll begin to see new hair growth. After about six months, you’ll start to notice significant growth. The hair will continue to fill in over the upcoming months.
Your newly transplanted hair will have a terrific, natural look. Your physician will consult with you to design a natural hairline that meets you goals and takes your personal characteristics into account. Since each hair is individually transplanted, you don’t have to worry about unnatural looks associated with older “plug” procedures.
Your Hair. Your Style.
You’ll treat your newly transplanted hair just like the rest of your hair. You’ll be able to cut, comb and style your hair in any way you choose. You’ll shampoo and condition your hair as usual. You can even color it if you like.
